In the chronic of Davos the „Haus zum alten Rössli“ was mentioned for the first time in 1495 as the home of the „Guler“ family. Back then it was a two storied family home with a big garden.
The next time the house is mentioned is in 1609 when a son of the Guler family dies in an avalanche.
Later the house was sold to the „Gredig-Buol“ family. In 1860 Andreas Gredig started to host his first guests, as they travelled to and through Davos.
